In September 9, 2021, the tender for the privatization of DEPA Infrastructure S.A., the sole shareholder of Attiki Natural Gas Distribution Company (EDA Attikis Single Member S.A.), was completed with the announcement of the company “Italgas S.P.A.” as the Preferred Investor for the transaction by the Board of Directors of the Company’s shareholders under privatisation, which include the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund S.A. (HRADF). (HRADF) with a 65% stake and the company “Hellenic Petroleum S.A.” (HELPE) in 35%.
On December 10, 2021, the contract for the purchase and sale of all shares (100%) of DEPA INFRASTRUCTURE S.A. was signed between the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund S.A. (HRADF). (HRADF), Hellenic Petroleum S.A. (HELPE) (Sellers) and Italgas S.P.A. (Investor).
The acquisition of all the shares (100%) and the privatisation of DEPA INFRASTRUCTURE S.A. by Italgas S.P.A. will be completed on the 1st of September 2022.
