The heating of the indoor area can be conducted:

• Heating can be accomplished by using the existing boiler or by replacing it, as well as by substituting the burner
• Replacement or substitution of the existing gas boiler, or replacement of the existing boiler, with the use of a wall-mounted gas boiler (conventional or condensing) with an integrated burner.
• Natural gas fired boilers (self-contained gas-fired appliances that produce hot air, while the flue gases are exhausted by a horizontal flue to the exterior – without a chimney)
• Gas fired air boiler – air ducts (air heating is combined with ventilation of the room)

Radiant devices (floor or ceiling) are also used for heating the external premises, with which the local desired heating is achieved.

Depending on your specific professional needs, there are gas-fired appliances for all types and methods of cooking and baking. In particular you can operate: ovens (cyclo-thermal, tubular, air-heated), hobs, fryers, grills, broilers, griddles, platters, chickens, rounds, salamanders, cream kettles, crepe pots, frying pans (donuts/spaghetti), doners, baking grills, etc.

If your equipment is operated with an oil burner, only a change of the burner with the gas burner is required. Gas appliances have a cost equivalent to electric appliances. In case

you have CE marked appliances that operate with LPG, only the injectors of the appliance need to be changed to natural gas.

Hot water boilers (or instantaneous water heaters or instantaneous heaters) for the production of domestic hot water are continuous-flow devices, have small dimensions and do not have a hot water storage tank. Their function starts as soon as there is a need for hot water, and therefore the appliance must have an appropriate power output to meet the consumer’s requirements. A range of newer instantaneous water heaters with a greater capacity for instantaneous hot water production, focusing on temperature and its stability throughout the consumption, is also available in this category.

Condensing appliances are another option in the category of instantaneous water heaters. These models have an efficiency greater than 90%, a significant reduction in gas consumption compared to the corresponding conventional appliance, thus achieving additional savings.

Storage water heaters are floor-mounted devices and have the ability to store hot water. Large quantities of water can be heated and stored using this technology, but the standby mode leads to energy losses. Their feature is that there is no need to run the heating source at the time the hot water is used.

There is also the possibility of tri-generation with simultaneous production of electrical, thermal and cooling energy (through an absorption chiller).

The gas cogeneration system is a very good proposal for your business premises, as long as your needs are covered by the heat load produced, providing economy of operation, environmental benefit and possible independence from the electricity distribution network.

However, in most industries, where thermal needs are met indirectly with a fluid (steam, heating oil, hot water), the substitution of other fuels by gas is very simple and is carried out by using the existing boiler/generator or replacing it and simultaneously substituting the burner.
