How much does the connection and installation cost?
There are two basic technical tasks required to connect your dwelling to natural gas in order to enjoy its multiple benefits.
Gas connection process
The first task involves connecting your property to the gas network and comprises the construction of the drainage system (i.e. digging the road, connecting the drainage pipe underground to the main gas pipeline and running the drainage pipe to the point where the regulator is installed), the installation of the regulator, if required, and the installation of the gas meter.
These activities are carried out by Enaon EDA and the consumer is required to pay the corresponding connection fees, the amount of which depends on the type of connection.

Construction of the internal installation
The second task concerns the construction of the internal gas installation, which includes the piping, fittings and devices from the gas meter to the gas combustion devices and the flue gas exhaust outlet.
The construction of the internal installation and the installation of the gas appliances shall be performed by licensed gas plumbers of the consumer’s choice. The cost of internal installation depends on the type of connection (centralised or stand-alone) and the condition and specifics of your existing installation and property. For instance, in the case of central heating if a boiler change is required the cost of internal installation is significantly higher, while in the case of independent heating the cost is higher if additional interventions are required in the water pipes.
In all cases, please request an economic quotation for the cost of your internal installation and appliances from at least 2 different installers of your choice.
