Internal Audit
The Internal Audit Service (IAS) – reporting to the Board of Directors – operates in an independent, objective, assuring and advisory manner. It is designed to add value and improve the Company’s operations, as well as to assist the Company in achieving its objectives by providing a systematic approach to assess and improve the effectiveness of risk management, the internal control system and corporate governance processes.
In order to enhance the effectiveness of the IAS, there is active cooperation with an external consultant specialised in internal control issues. Audits carried out within the scope of the IAS activity identify findings in various control areas, assess them on the basis of criticality and determine the necessary corrective actions for each finding individually within a specific period of time.
