Connection procedure for SMEs
The connection procedure with natural gas network is simple and involves the following 5 steps
Submission of connection application & Technical inspection
Please be informed if your property is on an activated or planned to be constructed gas network. . You can visit the network availability search applications on our website or dial 11322.
Submit your gas connection application:
- at our customer service store (or electronically at: e-services@edaattikis.gr)
- via an Authorized Partner store of our Company
- by phone at 11322
- or through a natural gas supply company of your choice (provided it offers the service)
Afterwards, a technical inspection visit will be scheduled by personnel of Enaon EDA, where you will be informed about the possibility and method of connecting your property to the natural gas network, as well as the required documents for the connection contract.
Signature of the connection contract
If you wish to sign a connection contract, you can visit one of the customer service points of Enaon EDA, submitting the required documents that you were informed about during the technical inspection, as well as the payment receipts for connection fees (if applicable). It is noted that a necessary document for signing the connection contract is the “Property Connection Form and Components Location Agreement.”
Alternatively, you can submit the required documents on the electronic platform of Enaon EDA at the following link: www.edaattikis.gr/e-contract .
At the same time or in a subsequent stage, you also sign the natural gas supply contract with a supplier of your choice. The company should have a Natural Gas Supply License from the Regulatory Energy Authority.
Delivery Point Construction
Enaon EDA constructs the natural gas delivery point, which includes the entire installation from the distribution network of Enaon EDA up to the metering device.
Construction of the Internal Installation
The gas internal installation is constructed by licensed technical personnel of your choice. The engineer authorized by you submits a relevant study to Enaon EDA for approval. After approval of the study the installer of your choice constructs the internal installation, which is delimited from the gas meter outlet to the gas consumption appliances.
For the construction of your internal installation, you can address to companies or individual businesses active in the natural gas market.
Enaon EDA advises you to request an economic offer regarding the cost of your internal installation project for a minimum of 2 different installers.
Ask the installer to include the following information in their financial offer together with the corresponding costs:
- Survey costs
- In the case of central heating:
– Proposed gas boiler appliances (brand and type)
Proposed gas boiler appliances (brand and type) in case of gas boiler change - In case of autonomy:
– Preferred wall-mounted gas boiler devices (brand and type). Confirm that the price includes the accessories - Record the length and materials of pipes (copper or steel)
- List of other materials that may be required due to the specificity of your building or building\The guarantees offered regarding the materials and the time covered for each of the above.
- Inspection and maintenance services (work and periodicity). The inspection of your indoor installation as well as the chimney must be done once every year. Similarly, their maintenance must be carried out every 4 years.
Finally, please request the total bid cost to include the installation labor costs.
Activation of internal installation (gas-on)
For the temporary supply of the internal installation with natural gas and after its completion by an authorized installer, you should:
- Schedule an appointment with a Mechanical Inspector to verify the compliance of the constructed internal installation with the approved design. To schedule this appointment, call Enaon EDA at 11322.
- Following a successful inspection, you or the installer should submit the necessary documents to request the activation of the internal installation (Certificate of Strength and Watertightness, etc.). To schedule* this appointment, call Enaon EDA at 11322.
*In order for Enaon EDA to perform the activation of your installation, you must have previously signed the supply contract with the supplier of your choice.
Upon activation, your installer dispatches the gas combustion analysis sheet to Enaon EDA f.kausis@edaattikis.gr.
